Fusselman gets the Independence Caucus endorsement

On Tuesday April 13, Republican candidate for Indiana House District 50, Ron Fusselman, earned the endorsement of the Independence Caucus.  The Independence Caucus is a National Citizens Organization dedicated to limited government, fiscal responsibility, adherence to constitutional authority and representation of the people to Washington; not Washington to the people.  You can find out more about the Independence Caucus at icaucus.org.

Fusselman calls on Representative Leonard to repay taxpayers

Huntington, IN. – Republican candidate for State Representative, Ron Fusselman, on Thursday called for long-time State Representative Dan Leonard (HD 50) to repay the taxpayers of Indiana for the cost of a franked mail piece paid for by the Indiana House of Representatives and mailed less than 30 days before the primary.

"This just goes to show you how out of touch Representative Leonard is with the voters of House District 50.  To spend your hard earned tax dollars on an obvious campaign piece just smells like politics as usual,” commented Fusselman.  "People are tired of the status quo and no one epitomizes politics as usual more than my opponent and I would call for Dan to repay the Indiana taxpayers for this campaign mailing.  It is a blatant abuse of the franking privilege afforded to elected members of the Indiana General Assembly," Fusselman added.
